How do I enter the competition?
- Take a picture: If you pass a cairn – take a picture. If you don’t encounter one in the next few months, feel free to build your own.
- Share: Share the picture in the submission form at the bottom of this page.
When will we find the winner?
- On 19 May 2025, we will select the three most beautiful, most imaginative and creative of the submitted images.
- The three midwives behind the photos will each receive one ticket to the congress dinner on 27 May 2025. We contact you on you via e-mail.
Why is there a cairn in the
NJF-congress logo?
- The cairn is chosen as a symbol in the congress logo for several reasons:
- Balance and Fragility: It symbolizes balance, strength and harmony, but also fragility and man’s inferiority in the great nature.
- A Portrayal of Birth: Perhaps it can be seen as a picture of a birth and the interaction between the midwife and the woman.
- The Beauty of CairnsAnd then we think that a cairn is beautiful.
